Building
A local-first file synchronizer for folders that are too important for ad-hoc scripts and too small for a platform. The current work is mostly conflict logs and recovery.
Learning
Reading SQLite’s pager code slowly, then recreating tiny pieces in a scratch repository to see where my mental model is wrong.
Keeping
Weekly release windows, handwritten incident notes, and fewer notifications. Small constraints make side projects easier to return to.
Not doing
No new frameworks this season. The useful work is in finishing interfaces and deleting accidental abstractions.
